We are hiring a Management Accountant to join a leading organisation in the non-profit sector on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will provide accurate and timely financial insights to support decision-making across the organisation. You will take ownership of key financial reporting, conduct in-depth analysis, and develop financial models to support various business functions. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Based in Dublin 7, this organisation offers a hybrid working model along with a competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Financial Performance & Cost Control - Conduct monthly reviews of business unit financials, offering valuable insights to support budget holders in effective decision-making. Analyse costs and financial trends to highlight potential areas for optimisation and cost-saving initiatives. Management Reporting & Analysis - Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, to provide a clear and actionable overview of the organisation's financial health. Board-Level Financial Insights - Support the Financial Controller in compiling detailed reports for the Board and its committees, including financial statements, cash flow analysis, key performance indicators, and subsidiary consolidation. Budgeting & Forecasting - Play a key role in the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and business modelling, working closely with senior leadership to ensure financial plans align with the organisation's strategic goals. Funding & Compliance Reporting - Assist in the preparation of funding applications and ensure all statutory funder reporting requirements are met, maintaining compliance and transparency. Strategic Workforce Financial Planning - Provide in-depth manpower cost analysis and collaborate with the HR department to ensure efficient resource allocation and workforce planning. Process Improvement & Efficiency - Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting processes, streamline operations, and drive cost efficiencies across the organisation while working closely with finance and operational teams. Candidate Requirements: Qualified Accountant or Part-Qualified Accountant nearing completion, with at least two years of post-qualification experience. Experience in the non-profit or public sector is an advantage, but candidates with a strong interest in this field are also highly desirable. Strong Excel skills are essential - experience with NetSuite would be beneficial but is not required. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
