Post specific related information The primary role of the CNM II will be one of clinical and professional leadership in the Patient Flow department. The CNM II will demonstrate a high level of skill and competency to aid the efficient, effective care and streamlining of patients through the hospital. The CNM II will be accountable for ensuring that the decision making process is effective and will be responsible for the optimal use of bed capacity in the hospital.
This post will involve the co-ordination and management of activity and resources within the hospital, including overseeing all admissions, scheduled, unscheduled and all discharges and transfers to and from the hospital. The CNM II will work closely with the Patient Flow Discharge Coordinators to expedite the discharge process. The CNM II will work alongside the Director of Unscheduled Care to ensure local and national KPI’s in relation to PET and national metrics are achieved.
