The Colas portfolio is critical to PepsiCo beverages’ volume & share delivery and in ensuring our business is positioned to meet the current and future demand of consumers. PepsiCo’s Int’l Bevs Colas portfolio is comprised of Pepsi TM brands a breadth of sugar levels, flavours and formats. Pepsi TM is a multi-billion-dollar brand and strategically, we have the ambition of being the fastest growing Cola brand/business; we are seeking profitable growth and share gains particularly prioritizing accelerated growth of our NS business in the next 5 years. This role is based in Dublin, Ireland. The role is embedded in the Colas team to ensure focus on all strategic decisions around the category/brand. This role may require global travel (up to 20%).

Responsibilities

- Lead strategy development and deployment of the Pepsi Brand Football programs globally.
- Lead deployment & project management of key Football projects for brand Pepsi ensuring timely communication and execution – specifically BFE, UCL, WUCL and Always on
- Champion brand’s perspective and engage with relevant teams regarding strategic transformation towards a new consumer engagement model, piloting and scaling across key anchor markets
- Be a custodian of the Brand Pulse including Creative Brand Platform in the execution of Football programs and resulting communications
- Partner with Franchise teams and develop annual and multi year strategic plans to drive bottler engagement behind key brand projects (incl. Int’nal Beverage Conference materials)
- Partner with the Agency of record to strengthen strategy. Partner with key agencies to provoke outside in thinking, to strengthen drive timely alignment and execution at the regional level
- Lead & manage global and regional brand connects to ensure widespread clarity of strategies, plans and programs ensuring up-to-date content calendar
- Support wider Marketing agenda (for example stay abreast of industry trends, bring outside in, fresh thinking regularly)

Key accountabilities:

- Support the management and operationalization of key Pepsi football strategies and alignment in 3-5 year horizon in collaboration with the Strategic Brand Team (single CMO to oversee Football JTBD
- Lead development of key football programs and playbooks
- Partner with IB Insights, design, comms teams, Marketing Transformation, commercialization, innovation leaders to integrate Pepsi football strategy into an E2E programs enabling strong deployment in market
- Partner with key IB markets (12 anchor markets) to ensure insight led football plans based on agreed Human Jobs to be Done, to drive penetration, grow share and strengthen equity
- Partner with key agencies to provoke outside in thinking, to strengthen drive timely alignment and execution at the regional level (all sectors)

Qualifications

- MBA or equivalent strongly preferred
- 10+ years of marketing experience within the CPG/Beverages industry (strong digital background preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of the beverages industry and understanding of franchise model
- Sense of curiosity
- Excellent collaborator with demonstrated ability to develop deep relationships with individuals and organizations from diverse backgrounds; ability to lead through influence rather than hierarchy.
- Experience working in a multi-market environment is a plus
- Strong in multi-tasking, project management and prioritization skills
- A strategic mindset able to harness their deep understanding of our consumer along with meaningful insights to drive our agenda
- Ability to effectively work and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, proven track record of influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally
- Good entrepreneurial spirit (’act as owner’)
- Experience managing agency partners to deliver brand experiences and engagement platforms.
- Experience leading internal cross-functional teams to develop and launch new programs/platforms.
- Highly analytical, motivated, decisive leader with excellent managerial skills.
- Strategic mind with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and influence decision makers.
- Willing to travel internationally 20% of the time.
