Company description: FBD Holdings PLC Job description: Job Responsibilities Contribute to the growth and the effective operation of Underwriting Governance through: Overseeing implementation of wording changes in conjunction with Documentation Change Manager. Supporting Product Oversight and Governance review process in conjunction with Underwriting Managers. Engagement with Underwriting Managers to ensure Policy Wording Reviews are carried out in line with procedures. Engagement with Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit on wording changes and risk and control processes. Assessing and enhancing documentation/wording change control processes. Supporting the continuous development of our technical processes and procedures to best standard levels. Preparing product and technical training content with Underwriting Managers. Update and enhance Underwriting training material, guidelines and procedures Competencies Previous experience in insurance with emphasis on governance, quality assurance and controls. Previous underwriting experience desirable but not essential. An excellent communicator both written and verbal. Attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team and to act on own initiative Ability to seek out and use all available sources of information to make informed decisions and to solve problems. Constructive and supportive working style. Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, SharePoint, Word & PowerPoint.
