Role: European Road Freight Forwarder Location: Dublin 15 Salary: €40k -€45k Role Requirements: Coordinate and manage groupage shipments across Europe. Plan and arrange road freight transport using both internal and external haulage networks. Liaise with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure timely collection and delivery of goods. Prepare and manage all relevant documentation (CMRs, manifests, customs paperwork where applicable). Track and monitor shipments, providing regular status updates to customers. Negotiate rates with hauliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and service. Ensure compliance with EU transport regulations and company procedures. Deal with transport incidents or delays, finding effective solutions and communicating with stakeholders. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, providing high levels of customer service. Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., warehousing, customs, finance) to Candidate Requirements: 2 years minimum experience in European road freight forwarding or a similar logistics role. Knowledge of European transport regulations, routing, and documentation requirements. Strong understanding of groupage and full-load logistics across Europe. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple shipments, and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
