What is the role:
AIB’s in-house Talent Acquisition team is responsible for supporting the bank's internal and external recruitment through a direct sourcing model. The team actively partners with Hiring Managers across all areas of the business to understand and fulfill their talent requirements. They are responsible for the attraction of candidates across AIB in ROI & UK.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner with hiring managers within a specific business area to attract and target candidates for vacancies. You will provide your market knowledge on the best sourcing strategy and assist managers by screening and assessing candidates, providing a true partnership and efficient process.
Key Accountabilities Include:
Recruitment Delivery
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and processes to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect position requirements and company culture.
- Support internal mobility and career development initiatives for employees.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified professionals to rapidly respond to recruitment needs.
- Support the I&D team to promote and integrate I&D initiatives in the hiring practices of employees at all levels.
Data Management & Analytics
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Be a subject matter expert in the recruitment lifecycle and provide business stakeholders with timely market, trend, and best practice information.
- Recommend system improvements to current recruitment processes to ensure streamlined, cost-effective, high-quality services are provided.
Employer Branding & Talent Attraction
- Attend career fairs and conferences to promote the organization and deepen the pool of potential candidates.
- Develop and execute recruitment campaigns leveraging our employer value proposition to promote AIB as a great place to work.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to identify and engage with potential candidates.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, either in-house, agency, or RPO.
- Demonstrated ability to network and source on LinkedIn, with knowledge on converting candidates into applicants.
- Evidence of excellent customer relationship skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels within the company and represent the Talent Acquisition Team with expertise, business knowledge, and commercial awareness.
- Ability to source, screen, hire, and secure the best talent for organizational needs, ensuring a diverse candidate pool.
- Prior use of talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams.
