How you’ll make an impact:

The Senior Software Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and executing test procedures to ensure that software programs work as intended. This position will be a part of the software development team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a cooperative manner with software engineers, product and program managers.

What you’ll do:

• Work with software engineers, program managers, requirements managers, and other product stakeholders to understand product features and the complete set of requirements to the software.

• Assist in the development of end-to-end automated & manual test cases

• Work closely with development teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed.

• Develop, maintain and execute test cases, ensuring the quality and stability of the system throughout the project

• Generate testing completion metrics and analysis, as well as status read-outs to upper management

• Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test methodologies that ensure exhaustive testing of all assigned software systems to ensure compliance with software/system specifications.

• Anticipate potential software problems by creating test scenarios.

What you’ll need

• BS Engineering or SW Engineering, Computer Science, computer Engineering or equivalent experience required. MS Engineering is desired.

• 3-6+ years’ experience with Test Development and Environments

• Experience in Consumer or Automotive Software development

• Experience in Consumer or Automotive Frameworks

• Experienced in Consumer or Automotive Client Application

• Experienced in Tools for test development

• Experience in test automation

• Application of software development life cycle concept.

• Knowledge and application of at least one programming languages

• Knowledgeable of Object-Oriented Programming concepts

Technical Skills:

• 3-5+ years’ experience as Test engineer

• Experience in Test Frameworks

• Experience in test automation

• Experience with tools - Jira, Git, Charles (It is an HTTP proxy / HTTP monitor / Reverse Proxy that enables a developer to view all of the HTTP and SSL / HTTPS traffic between their machine and the Internet. This includes requests, responses and the HTTP headers (which contain the cookies and caching information).
