We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM’s global Product and Technology organization.

SiriusXM’s new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.

What you’ll do:

- The Senior Software Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and executing test procedures to ensure that software programs work as intended. This position will be a part of the software development team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a cooperative manner with software engineers, product and program managers.
- Work with software engineers, program managers, requirements managers, and other product stakeholders to understand product features and the complete set of requirements to the software.
- Assist in the development of end-to-end automated & manual test cases.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed.
- Develop, maintain and execute test cases, ensuring the quality and stability of the system throughout the project.
- Generate testing completion metrics and analysis, as well as status read-outs to upper management.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test methodologies that ensure exhaustive testing of all assigned software systems to ensure compliance with software/system specifications.
- Anticipate potential software problems by creating test scenarios.

What you’ll need:

- BS Engineering or SW Engineering, Computer Science, computer Engineering or equivalent experience required. MS Engineering is desired.
- 3-5+ years’ experience with Test Development and Environments.
- Experience in Automotive Software development.
- Experience in Automotive Frameworks.
- Experienced in Automotive Client Application.
- Experienced in Tools for test development.
- Experience in test automation.
- Application of software development life cycle concept.
- Knowledge and application of at least one programming language.
