Construction Manager Water Infrastructure Projects Dublin A Construction Manager is required by a leading civils and utilities contractor to oversee the delivery of water network and infrastructure projects across Dublin. This is a permanent role offering strong career development, working on major upgrade and renewal works within the water sector. The successful candidate will lead site operations, coordinate construction activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently to client standards. Duties: Manage day-to-day construction operations across multiple water infrastructure sites, ensuring works are completed to programme, quality, and budget. Lead and support site teams while coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist crews. Ensure all works meet Irish Water and project specification requirements. Drive best practice in Health & Safety, ensuring all safety procedures, inspections, and documentation are fully implemented. Oversee civil engineering elements such as pipeline installation, water mains, chambers, valves, reservoirs, and related structures. Review drawings, plans, and technical information, identifying challenges and implementing suitable solutions. Maintain accurate construction records, daily reports, and project documentation. Monitor progress, manage resources, and report updates to senior management and clients. Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, stakeholders, and local authorities. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant construction discipline. Minimum 5 years experience managing civil, utilities, or water infrastructure projects. Proven experience delivering water mains, pipelines, or similar civils/utilities works. Strong understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities. Previous experience as a Site Manager, General Foreman, or similar role is beneficial. Full clean driving licence.
