Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Chemistry,. The project will be carried out in the School of Chemistry at UCD which is part of the O'Brien Centre for Science. The postdoctoral fellow will work under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Marcus Baumann in his research laboratories focusing on exploring continuous flow transformations of industrial relevance that will be performed in 3D-printed reactor systems. Reaction optimisation and scale-up will be a critical part of these studies along with reporting of outcomes and sharing data with industrial project partners including IMR and collaborators from the fine chemical industries. Post Doctoral Level 1 Salary range: €43,305 - €48,896 per annum. Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
