We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in financial management, reporting, and compliance. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and providing strategic insights to support business growth. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, preparing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial expertise. Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to provide strategic insights and support decision-making. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting. Maintain compliance with tax regulations, assisting with audits and liaising with external auditors as needed. Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and support business objectives. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial controls, and industry best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
