As part of your daily responsibilities, you will be involved in preparing goods for dispatch, assisting with the unloading of customer products while operating a counterbalance forklift. This will include assisting customers, processing orders, handling payments, and providing knowledgeable advice on product. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organised counter area, manage stock levels, and support customers with queries. Responsibilities: Assist with loading and unloading customer products at the warehouse and yard. Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy. Keep warehouse & yard areas organised, and free from safety hazards. Drive the company van to deliver completed orders and collect customer returns across the Dublin region. Ensure all driving activities are conducted safely and professionally, following road safety regulations. Assist the trade counter operations when required your duties may include assisting members of the public, processing payments, and processing orders. Provide product advice and support to trade counter customers in a professional manner. Requirements: Valid Counterbalance forklift license. Possess full EU Category B driving license. Background in building materials or construction supplies(highly desirable). Capable of working in a physically demanding environment. Prominent level of attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed. Dependable, punctual, and self-driven with a proactive attitude.
