Role:Financial Accountant Contract Type: Full time - Permanent Job Description: We have an immediate requirement for a confident, and enthusiastic Financial Accountant, with at least 3 years strong post qualification experience gained in a fast moving and dynamic business environment. Successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and will have responsibility for the daily management of the Financial & Accounting function of the business ensuring that the business produces timely and accurate financial information to assist management in the decision making process Key Tasks / Responsibilities: Preparation of Monthly Management and Financial accounts Liaise with company auditors and preparation of audit pack Management and supervision of finance /administration team Monitoring and reporting of costs as required, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc Forecasting and updating of costings and budgets Ongoing monitoring and reporting against budget and targets Management of Payables and Receivables Managing and monitoring tax compliance Managing and monitoring month end tasks across finance function including reconciliation of all GL control accounts, Fixed Asset Register, Payroll etc. Preparation of monthly financial information for Board meetings Key Requirements / Qualifications: Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMAwith minimum 3 years industry experience. Advanced Excel skills & Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Excellent communicator can deal effectively with financial and non-financial people and is focused on building and maintaining excellent working relationships across the business. Excellent written communication skills with experience of report preparation for senior management up to board level. Takes full ownership of areas of own responsibility and is totally delivery focused. Team player with the ability to work on own initiative. Results oriented, with the ability to take decisions quickly when necessary and the resilience to challenge/be challenged. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with good influencing skills and a logical approach to complicated tasks - Will have experience of working to tight deadlines in a detail oriented and high transaction volume business which is performance driven. Highly analytical, strong attention to detail
