As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team. Position Overview: As the Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department and delivering an exceptional after-sales experience to our customers. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the after-sales process, including service operations, customer satisfaction, and team management. Key Responsibilities: Service Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate service operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of customer vehicles. Schedule loading, allocate resources, and manage service advisors and technicians to maximise productivity and minimise turnaround times. Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to manufacturer standards and dealership policies.. Customer Satisfaction: Champion a customer-centric approach and strive to exceed customer expectations at every touchpoint. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Monitor customer feedback and implement initiatives to enhance service quality and satisfaction levels. Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff. Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members to foster growth and excellence. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Financial Performance: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability in the after-sales department. Monitor key performance indicators such as service revenue, gross margin, Work in Progress, Warranty claims, and take corrective actions as needed. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports in collaboration with dealership management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field is preferred, however not essential. Proven experience in automotive after-sales management, dealing with a high-volume brand is essential, preferably in a dealership environment, Strong understanding of automotive service operations, including technical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Exceptional customer service skills with a track record of building long-term customer relationships. Proficiency in dealership management software (Keyloop preferrable). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement. Benefits: This position will pay a highly attractive basic salary and a commensurate bonus scheme for the right candidate. A company car, phone and laptop will also be provided.
