We are seeking a finance-driven, detail-oriented Freight Invoice & Cost Analyst with proven expertise in SAP to take ownership of freight cost validation, rate management, and invoice reconciliation. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance in our global transportation spend. You'll work closely with logistics vendors and internal finance teams to manage freight payments, monitor accruals, and support financial reporting - all within SAP and Excel-based systems. Key Responsibilities Validate and reconcile freight invoices using SAP, ensuring alignment with contracts, rate tables, and shipment data Manage and maintain freight rate structures, vendor master data, and cost center allocations in SAP Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with logistics service providers (LSPs) to prevent overbilling and ensure compliance Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate payment processing Prepare and analyze freight cost reports and spend trends using SAP, Excel, and Power BI Support monthly freight accruals, journal entries, and assist in financial closing activities Drive process improvements across freight settlement and cost tracking functions Requirements 2+ years of experience in freight settlement, transportation finance, or logistics accounting Strong hands-on experience with SAP (TM, MM, or FI/CO modules preferred) Proficient in Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, PivotTables); Power BI experience is an advantage Understanding of freight billing practices, rate contracts, and cost center structures High attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communicator, capable of working cross-functionally across finance, logistics, and vendor teams Nice to Have Exposure to global freight operations or multi-modal transport billing Experience with third-party freight audit platforms Background in financial controls or audit environments Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the required criteria will be contacted.
