We are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our rapidly expanding team and be an integral part of our continued growth story.
The Opportunity As a BDR, you will be the engine of our sales pipeline. This role is perfect for a proactive, results-oriented individual who is passionate about technology, finance, and making a tangible impact to growing Irish businesses. You will be responsible for generating qualified leads, driving initial engagement and creating opportunities for Financefair.
Responsibilities Proactively source, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across the Irish SME markets through a mix of cold-calling, email outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other strategic channels.
Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using our CRM ensuring accurate tracking of all activities and progress.
Conduct initial discovery calls to understand a prospect’s specific funding needs, financial challenges, and determine if they are a fit for Financefair’s innovative solutions.
Work closely with the Revenue Operations team to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns based on sector, geography, and specific customer profiles.
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and the financial challenges facing SMEs to refine your sales pitch and approach.
What You/'ll Bring A minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in a technology or Fintech sales role, preferably within a BDR, SDR, or similar lead-generation capacity.
Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualified meeting bookings.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, articulate, and persuasive telephone manner.
A strong work ethic, a highly resilient nature, and an intrinsically motivated, goal-oriented mindset.
Familiarity and proficiency with CRM software and sales engagement processes.
Previous experience or familiarity with the finance, lending, or SME business funding sectors is a plus.
