Link Personnel have been instructed by our Client, an International Law Firm in Dublin 2, on a Senior Legal PA vacancy to Head of Department. This will suit a candidate who has exceptional organisational skills and enjoys good autonomy in a role.

The Role:

- Provide PA support to Head of Department.
- Work collaboratively with all Finance teams to proactively support fee earners’ financial performance including client billing and reports, management of matter balances and working capital.
- Drafting, amending, preparing correspondence and documentation to a high standard, in accordance with house style and to tight deadlines.
- Dealing with client queries, ensuring they are handled in a professional, courteous and prompt manner.
- Client invoicing – drafting narratives, preparing reports, and tailoring to client specification through e-billing.
- Maintaining and archiving files – hard and soft copy.
- Preparing pleadings and briefs and bibles for Court.
- Dictaphone and copy typing.
- Organising travel arrangements.
- Diary management.
- Other secretarial, administrative and ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested.

The Candidate:

- 3 – 5 years’ Legal PA experience (or equivalent) gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with appropriate and effective use of grammar and punctuation.
- Be a confident stakeholder manager, with evidenced experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
- Adopt a consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
- Maintain efficient diary and task management across a range tasks, ensuring the accuracy and levels of service expected within a high performing team.
- Have enthusiasm, resilience and ambition to find solutions to problems.
- Remain calm and optimistic in time sensitive situations or under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexibly to meet client needs.
- High degree of competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
