VSS Ireland , headquartered in Carlow, is currently looking for an experienced and qualified Plumber to join our reactive maintenance team, focusing on social housing projects within Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Air duct and plant inspection, installation, and certification.
Kitchen Canopy, duct, and fan inspection, installation, and certification.
Gathering of photos and data for reporting purposes with our company reporting app software in a timely manner.
The ability to manage and motivate the team.
Adhere to company and client’s protocol and policies.
Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
Proactive and the ability to work on own initiative when problem-solving.
Confident in dealing with complaints and customer service issues.
Manage and train assistants in duct cleaning activities and health and safety.
Maintain van, equipment, and all company assets in good condition at all times.
Requirements:

Fluent English (both written and oral).
Physically fit and capable of working from ladders and in confined spaces.
Full clean driver's license and Safepass.
Minimum 2 years experience in plumbing/HVAC/Air quality testing or carpentry.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Team player.
Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
General IT/Smart Phone knowledge (position requires successful candidate to work off a smart phone/tablet/laptop).
Work a percentage of night shifts and be available to work nationwide with overnights.
Flexibility and availability to work on short notice, particularly weekends.
Punctual and well-presented as you will be the customer-facing representative for the company.
