Area Sales Manager

Covering Dublin (City & County), Kildare, Wicklow, Carlow, Kilkenny & Wexford

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing sales team in Ireland. Based in and covering a key territory across Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Wexford, you will be responsible for both maintaining and expanding our existing customer base, as well as driving new business opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in the KBB distribution or furniture distribution, who is ready to take ownership of a key region and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts to maximise sales revenue.

· Develop and execute strategic account plans, promotions, training sessions, and product displays.

· Identify and win new business opportunities with the support of the Business Development team.

· Deliver product proposals and training to ensure clients have the right product mix and knowledge.

· Analyse sales data to drive upselling, cross-selling, and introduce new product strategies.

· Monitor and manage your budget for displays, samples, marketing materials, and client visits.

· Report on territory performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives in regular sales meetings.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills

· 4+ years of B2B field sales or customer-facing experience.

· Demonstrated success in account management and business development.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

· Strong commercial awareness and understanding of KPIs.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

· Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work independently.

· Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Preferred

· Experience within the kitchen, bathroom, or home furnishings market.

· Familiarity with CRM systems.
