Barden are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing multinational business operating in the Technology and Energy sector who are looking to hire a Senior Management Accountant.

Our client is experiencing significant growth and are seeking an enthusiastic and commercial Finance professional to join the business. This is a newly created role due to expansion as this business is continuing to enter new markets. Reporting to a highly regarded Finance Manager, this is a broad role encapsulating key financial reporting activities as well as contributing towards strategic planning and growth initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts across the Group and presentation to Senior Management
- Preparation of annual financial statements and liaising with auditors and tax advisers
- Deputise for the Finance Manager when needed and provide guidance to junior team members as required
- Mitigating financial risks and implementing risk management and internal controls
- Drive key process improvement initiatives within the Finance function as the business continues to evolve
- Involvement in additional ad-hoc projects as necessary

ABOUT THE PERSON

- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with 3-5 years PQE.
- Experience in a scaling business would be advantageous.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Outgoing personality with a can do attitude.
- Ability to communicate and interact at all levels.
