We are now looking for a New & Used Car Preparation Manager to join our team and help us maintain the high standards our customers expect. Role Overview: As the New & Used Car Preparation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of both new and used vehicles, ensuring that each vehicle meets our strict quality guidelines before being presented for sale. You will lead a team of Valetors and work closely with sales and service departments to ensure all vehicles are ready for customer delivery, on time and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead, supervise, and train a team of Valetors in vehicle preparation processes, ensuring all vehicles are completed on time and to the required standard. Quality Control: Oversee the inspection and preparation of new and used cars, including cleaning, cosmetic repairs, and mechanical checks to ensure vehicles meet the dealerships quality standards. Vehicle Presentation: Ensure all vehicles are presented to the sales team in pristine condition, both internally and externally, ready for display and sale. Stock Management: Work with the sales department to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery and that stock is properly rotated, ensuring the right vehicles are prioritized for preparation. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all vehicles meet legal requirements and manufacturer standards for preparation and compliance, keeping accurate records of each vehicle's preparation history. Customer Focus: Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality, fully prepared vehicles in a timely manner. Health & Safety: Adhere to and enforce dealership health and safety policies, ensuring the workshop is a safe working environment for all staff. Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within a vehicle preparation or workshop environment, ideally within a main dealer. Desired but not required. Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation processes for both new and used cars. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards. Full Irish Driving Licence (Required).
