You will be part of a newly formed team in our Dublin office that is focused on developing a cutting-edge analytic platform and deploying advanced machine learning models to improve health outcomes for our members. You will be a critical member of the team that will document business requirements and translate them into technical requirements for our Data Engineering, Data Science and Business Intelligence teams that will support advanced solutions to improve health outcomes for our members.

Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:

- Work with business partners to define and document business and technical requirements for data and analytics projects, this includes the documentation of data flows and data mapping from source systems into our analytic platform.

- Partner with our Compliance and Privacy team to ensure our dataset have proper member level de-identification that complies with existing customer contracts.

- Create user stories and acceptance criteria.

- Attend and participate in Daily Scrum meetings.

- Participate in Sprint Planning and Sprint Review meetings with the Scrum Team and project stakeholders.

- Participate and contribute to weekly Data Governance meetings with team leads and project stakeholders.

- Document data ingestion updates to the wider STARs team on a regular basis.

- Assist with QA of features once implemented.

- Support the Scrum Master as part of the Business Strategy function within the team.

Required Qualifications of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:

- Graduate degree or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience

- Strong understanding of relational database concepts

- SQL querying experience

- Experience with Agile methodology including Agile tools (e.g. Rally, Jira)

- Experience with analyzing and documenting requirements

- Stakeholder management experience

- Ability to analyse data, drive to root cause issue, identify trends, problem solve and provide key recommendations based on analysis

- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:

- Understanding of HIVE and its components within Big Data

- Experience with HIPAA and data de-identification methodologies

- Healthcare/Pharmacy experience

- Exposure to Machine Learning models/projects

- Fluent in English both written and spoken 

Soft Skills of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:

- Excellent communication skills
