The Role: We are looking for an exceptional Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and the ongoing success of the Holiday Inn Express. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and contribute to the success of the team and hotel in a vibrant destination. Position Summary As a Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the maintenance team and carrying out maintenance works promptly and to the highest standard ensuring delivery of an excellent guest and team member experience whilst meeting the hotels business objectives. You will be responsible for providing in-house routine & preventive maintenance and ensuring adherence to all company statutory and legal regulatory requirements during repairs. Required Skills Good general knowledge of the systems used in hotels together with the ability to undertake repairs allocated to them. Electrical Heating and Ventilation Painting/Decorating and Finishes Plumbing Boiler Operation Fire Detection and Emergency Lighting Systems Kitchen Equipment Refrigeration General Building Maintenance and Repairs Health and Safety Experience Hands on skills and work experience in a similar role preferably in the hospitality industry. Planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair. Broad experience in a wide variety of building services skills. Simple fault finding and repair where necessary.
