Opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join an Accounting firm in Cork in a friendly, relaxed environment.

You will be responsible for supporting the accounting team by handling the day-to-day administration of financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

- Data Entry: Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements and invoices.
- Prepare and send out invoices to clients.
- Documentation and record-keeping
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager.

Ideal candidate:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role within an accounting firm or finance department.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- Good organisational and time management abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
