Civil Engineer - Power & Renewables I am recruiting a Civil Engineer to join a Tier 1 M&E Contractor in Ireland. Based in Dublin, this role offers exposure to a wide range of civil engineering disciplines from tender through construction and post-completion. Responsibilities Lead civil engineering support from tender to post-construction for P&R projects. Review ITT documentation and prepare preliminary civil designs including earthworks, drainage, access roads, structures, and construction compounds. Conduct civil engineering risk assessments and define Civil Design Scope of Works. Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams (estimating, electrical engineering) to ensure designs align with site requirements. Support program and resource scheduling, site visits, and coordination between civil and electrical teams. Review external designs, ensure optimisation, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with specifications and client requirements. Provide ongoing support during construction, manage scope changes, risks, and quality, and undertake site audits. Review as-built drawings and H&S file information post-construction. Requirements Degree-level qualification (HND or higher) in Civil Engineering or similar. Minimum 2 years post-graduate civil engineering experience. Flexible working with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Willingness and ability to undertake site visits across the UK & Ireland. Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
