Exciting Opportunity – Be the First Talent Acquisition Specialist for Ireland
This is a newly created, high-impact role and the first Talent Acquisition Specialist dedicated to supporting our Ireland region. You will join an established, global engineering company with a strong people culture, at an exciting time of growth, helping shape the future of our talent strategy and making a real impact on the business.
Stantec’s Ireland business has ambitious plans to grow. With the recent acquisition of Ryan Hanley, the Talent Acquisition team will play a critical role in supporting our continued expansion.
Based in Dublin or Galway you will work closely with hiring managers, stakeholders, and our Senior Leadership Team in Ireland, advising on best practice and recruiting across multiple disciplines within our multi-sector engineering environment.
Your role will include:
Direct sourcing strategies to attract top talent and build strong candidate pipelines and talent communities.

Managing recruitment agency partners to deliver cost-effective, high-quality results.

Resource forecasting, ensuring recruitment aligns with business and project demands.

Leading graduate recruitment efforts, attending graduate recruitment events, and building relationships with universities and other talent sources.

Delivering an exceptional candidate experience, representing Stantec’s values and commitment to excellence.

This is a fast-paced, highly visible role where you will play a pivotal part in Stantec’s ambitious growth plans in Ireland, contributing to the development of our people and shaping our future talent strategy.
Hybrid working: Enjoy the best of both worlds with three days a week in the office, giving you the opportunity to collaborate closely with your team and Senior Leadership, while maintaining flexibility to work remotely.
About You
You are a proactive Talent Acquisition professional with a successful track record in Irish recruitment market, including sourcing hard-to-fill roles. You ideally have experience recruiting in Construction or Engineering sectors across multiple disciplines.
You thrive in a high-volume, multi-sector recruitment environment and have strong stakeholder management skills, building trusted relationships with hiring managers and Senior Leadership.
You pride yourself on being responsive, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a passion for finding, attracting, and developing top talent, including leading graduate recruitment campaigns and attending graduate events.
You will be joining a team with a strong people culture, where collaboration, engagement, and employee development are central to how the business operates.
