Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced healthcare environment? We're seeking a dedicatedFull-Time Scheduling Administratorto join our Radiology Scheduling Team on apermanent basis. In this crucial role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing patient scheduling and supporting our clinics to ensure seamless patient care. If you thrive in a busy setting and possess excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you What You'll Do: As a Scheduling Administrator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of patient appointments and information. Your responsibilities will include: Patient Scheduling & Coordination:Processing incoming referrals, scheduling appointments for Diagnostic Imaging in out main Eccles Street hospital and our Day Hospitals, and maintaining efficient turn around times. This includes proactively refilling cancellation slots. Patient Communication:Professionally handling patient queries, contacting patients about appointments, and following up on results and reports for specific clinics. Information Management:Maintaining accurate archives and records, dealing with referrals efficiently, and managing emails, voicemails, and text messages. Administrative Excellence:Utilising technology like MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and our Hospital Patient Administration System to complete tasks to a high standard Confidentiality & Compliance:Upholding strict confidentiality of all documentation and records, and ensuring all work adheres to the high standards of the Mater Private Network, prioritising patient care and safety. Requirements for the role: To succeed in this role, you'll need a combination of administrative prowess and a patient-focused approach: Education:Leaving Certificate standard of education; a Medical Secretary diploma or similar qualification is desirable. Key Skills:Strong Attention to Detail:Essential for accurate scheduling and record-keeping. Excellent Coordination Skills:To manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively. Adaptability:Flexibility in hours to suit operational needs and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Initiative:A proactive approach to enhance our service and solve problems independently. Exceptional Communication:Outstanding interpersonal skills with an awareness and sensitivity towards patient needs. Technical Proficiency:Comfort and experience using MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn new systems like and our Hospital Patient Administration System.
