Reports to: Executive Director, Chair and Board of SDGI Location: Dublin (Temple Bar office & hybrid) Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (one day aligned with the Executive Director in Temple Bar; other two days ideally in office or home) Salary: €45,000 per annum pro rata (approx. €27,000 for 3 days/week) Why Join Us? Role Overview The Part-Time Admin & Events Manager ensures SDGIs administration, membership, and events run to a professional standard. This is an admin-heavy but rewarding role, perfect for someone who thrives on obsessive attention to detail, enjoys Excel, enjoys sending Mailchimp newsletters, updating WordPress website, social media and supporting funding applications and sponsorship, all while helping deliver memorable events and festivals for Irelands film & TV directors. Key Responsibilities Administration & Accounts Manage monthly accounts, statements, and annual cashflow. Process payments, funding drawdowns, and prepare audits. Draft and coordinate funding applications; maintain a funding and sponsorship calendar. Keep accurate reports for funders, sponsors, and the board. Membership & Communications Oversee membership renewals, recruitment, and database management. Develop and launch resources (guides, residencies, agents, copyright guides, festival deadlines, affinity deals, etc.). Conduct member surveys and present insights. Manage digital communications: newsletters (Mailchimp), website updates (WordPress), and social media scheduling. Events, Festivals & Publicity Deliver monthly events and collaborate with festivals annually, including screenings, workshops, residencies, the AGM, and the SDGI Awards. Handle logistics: scheduling, suppliers, venues, catering, budgets, and sponsorship support. Design events that are creative, professional, and impactful. Draft press releases and liaise with media outlets. Office, Board & Team Coordination Manage office operations: IT, insurance, supplies, workflow systems. Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment. Arrange board meetings: scheduling, preparing papers, circulating agendas, and taking minutes. Support the Chair and Board of SDGI with governance and compliance as needed. Coordinate interns, volunteers, and staff support. Organise occasional team-building and development opportunities. What Were Looking For Obsessive attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Proficiency with Excel, Mailchimp, WordPress, and social media tools. Experience in event and festival coordination and design. Ability to manage funding applications, sponsorships, and reporting. A confident communicator written, digital, and in-person. Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Flexible, with availability for at least one evening event per month.
