High‑spec industrial/logistics project recently commenced.
Role Overview Management‑focused Senior Engineer supporting the Contracts Manager across two commercial logistics projects in Dublin 11 and Dublin 12. The role prioritises coordinating subcontractors, driving programme, and managing technical documentation and compliance, rather than detailed setting‑out.
Key Responsibilities Act as a key support to the Contracts Manager across both logistics projects.
Oversee site activity and ensure alignment with project programme and quality standards.
Coordinate subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and smooth workflow on site.
Monitor and maintain site documentation – drawings, RFIs, technical submittals.
Review and ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and regulations.
Participate in client and design team meetings as required.
Track and report on progress, delays, and technical issues to senior management.
Maintain high Health & Safety and environmental standards on site.
Collaborate with internal commercial and planning teams where required.
Contribute to decision‑making on value engineering, programme adjustments, and sequencing.
Ideal Candidate Profile 6+ years of site experience (Main Contractor or Developer background).
Experience on commercial, industrial, logistics or steel‑frame projects preferred.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
Desire to grow into a Project Management role over time.
Excellent understanding of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and site health & safety requirements.
Comfortable working across multiple projects in the Dublin region.
