Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Park West / Dublin 12
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time - 5 days in the office

Our client is a leading wholesaler and distributor in the flooring industry with over 30 years of experience in supplying retailers across Ireland. They pride themselves on exceptional service and product quality. As part of their continued development, they are now seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join their team and take ownership of all HR-related functions within the organisation.

The Role
As the Human Resources Manager, you will have full responsibility for HR across the business, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture. You will be supported by the directors and will work closely with external HR advisors when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for all employee HR queries regarding company policy, contracts, benefits, and more.

Manage and process payroll efficiently.

Maintain and coordinate training requirements across the company.

Oversee recruitment processes, including job advertisements, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.

Conduct and support performance reviews, salary reviews, and remuneration benchmarking.

Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practises.

Maintain and update employee records in compliance with GDPR requirements.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A CIPD qualification (Level 5 minimum; Level 7 desirable).

Previous experience with industrial candidates.

Post-qualification experience in a HR Generalist role.

Experience in standalone HR positions or SME environments is advantageous.

Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practises.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
