Internal Compliance Officer

Our clients are predominantly business owners who are focused on ensuring their day-to-day operations perform as they should, I.T, networks, systems and cybersecurity are generally not something they have time to consider and that is where we step in. We manage all of the I.T. requirements so that people don't have to worry about whether their data and systems are protected. Nostra is exponentially growing and we are expanding our Cyber Security team Nostra has offices in Dublin, Galway and Cork. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain compliance framework/regulatory required documentation, both for customers and internally for Nostra, and to advise on recommended processes and solutions. Work with the Compliance Team (lead) to implement Cyber protection regulations and frameworks both for customers and internally for Nostra (adhere to industry-specific standards). Work with the Compliance Team to assist in Nostras (technical) compliance with applicable laws and regulations using security best practices, while maintaining compliance. Help safeguard sensitive information, adapt to emerging threats, and facilitate business continuity within Nostra by implementing company policy and by keeping abreast of developments within the cybersecurity/compliance sector. Implement internal Audit Schedule. Supporting various departments by assisting in the collection and coordination of internal compliance data with auditors and various departments. Ensuring complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to management and/or the correct departments. Requirements: 1-2 years experience in data protection/cyber resilience compliance. Excellent Documentation preparation skills (e.g. proficiency in word and excel, reporting). Knowledge of Cyber security systems/applications and their implementations. Ability to work independently and part of a team. Must have proficient management skills (including time management). Excellent Interpersonal skills. Must have excellent communication skills to work between various departments, customers etc. Required: ISMS Internal Auditor Training Course, GDPR Practitioner Certificate, or similar related Cyber risk/Framework/Data protection implementation background. Advantages: CertifiedDORA Foundation/Compliance, Certified Data Protection Officer, ISACA Certifications or similar.2-3 years experience in related roles (e.g IT Support Engineer, IT Manager, Computer Systems Analyst).
