This is a hybrid role in Cork.
The opportunity
As Head of Sales in Cork, you'll lead a team of AEs and S/BDRs focused on outbound pipeline generation and new logo acquisition, with a core emphasis on the PSA (Professional Services and Automation) vertical. You'll shift the team from a reactive to proactive sales engine - instilling outbound rigor, vertical-specific playbooks, and insight-led selling to unlock strategic accounts across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and scale the Cork sales team across segments (SMB and Mid-Market for both Inbound & Outbound motions).
- Own pipeline generation activities, ensuring proactive prospecting against ICP targets in PSA.
- Partner with Marketing and RevOps to optimize cadences, lead quality, and outbound messaging.
Team Management & Performance
- Build a high-performance culture with clear KPIs for outreach volume, conversion, and velocity.
- Coach AEs and BDRs in outbound best practices, including messaging personalisation, social selling, and objection handling.
Strategic Deal Management
- Guide AE team through the full-cycle sales process with focus on complex, PSA-aligned mid-market opportunities.
- Lead by example on strategic outbound deals - running discovery, navigating stakeholders, and closing consultative sales.
Vertical Expansion
- Localise outbound strategies for PSA segments in EMEA, including creative, IT services, and consulting.
- Collaborate on content and campaigns that address vertical-specific pain points and use cases.
Process, Tools & Enablement
- Establish outbound metrics (emails, calls, connects, meetings booked, sourced revenue) and coach to results.
- Drive adoption of sales enablement tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Gong) to boost rep effectiveness.
What good looks like
Outbound Sales Focus
- 8+ years in SaaS sales, with strong experience leading outbound-focused teams.
- Skilled in building outbound prospecting strategies from the ground up.
Vertical and Segment Experience
- Comfortable crafting messaging and campaigns for niche vertical buyers.
Leadership & Coaching
- Strong coaching skills with a track record of building self-generating sales teams.
- Able to motivate teams around KPIs and prospecting goals.
CRM & Metrics-Driven
- Data-literate and fluent in funnel analysis, pipeline health, and performance diagnostics.
- Proficient in HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools (We use Hubspot)
