Due to our clients continued development and expansion,Design Build Search is seekingaSenior Site Manager for a Commercial project based in Dublin. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop and bring added value to their career within an expanding contracting company who have a proven track record in delivering complex, diverse and challenging construction projects. Responsibilities: Supervision of the construction on site Management of all day-to-day onsite activity Maintaining site diary recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities Support the project manager in delivering the project to the highest of quality & completed on time, within budget Manage and motivate site teams Ensure work is carried out to the highest of standards Implementation of the Safety Management System on site Implementation of the Quality Management System on site Working to an agreed programme and planning future works to avoid delays Plan, maintain and control the financial administration of all construction work to attain and maintain maximum cost effectiveness Requisitioning materials required on site in time and to the correct specification Attend various meetings to ensure the efficient communication of all issues that affect day to day running of the site Organising daily whiteboard meetings Requirements: 9+ years site management experience (with main contractors) Hold relevant Construction, Engineering or Trades qualification Demonstrated ability to see projects through from concept to completion Previous Experience Working for a Main Contractor Ability to work on own initiative Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry Excellent written and oral presentation skills Skills: Site Management Construction Engineering New Build Benefits: Healthcare Pension Group Life Assurance Company Vehicle
