Tax Director | Growing Firm | South Dublin/Central
Our client is a well-established and respected firm of Accountants and Tax Advisors based in Dublin South/Central.
The firm has a vibrant client base across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, tech, retail, and not-for-profit. To facilitate continued growth and ensure top-tier client service, they are seeking a Tax Director to join their team.
This position offers genuine opportunities for career progression, involvement in interesting projects, and extensive learning and development within a collaborative environment.
The firm’s leadership is committed to independent growth and has no interest in being acquired or seeking private equity backing.
The Role
Responsibilities of the position include:
1. Oversight and management of the tax team (circa 5 people)
2. Leading both compliance and advisory work
3. Managing and growing a busy client portfolio of corporates and high-net-worth individuals (HNWs)
About You
The Skills
To be successful in this role, you will likely have the following skills:
1. CTA Qualified, with significant experience (7+ years) in tax
2. Expertise across a variety of tax heads (corporation tax and income tax are core)
3. Proven experience in small team/people management
4. Experience in either a large or small firm environment will be considered
5. Strong exposure to both corporate and personal tax clients

1. A motivated, commercially minded professional who enjoys client interaction
2. Strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach
3. Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and building long-term client relationships
