Payroll & Finance Specialist
We are working with a great client who is looking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join their finance team in Dublin 12. This is a permanent role, office based Monday to Friday with some flexibility with start and finishing times. They are seeking an enthusiastic candidate who that must be able to end to end payroll for both weekly and monthly staff This is a key role within a busy finance function, and the right person will enjoy variety, ownership, and the chance to grow with the company.
Salary & Benefits:
€40,000-45,000
On Site – Monday to Friday
Permanent role

Team environment
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process payroll data for fortnightly and monthly pay cycles
Ensure timely and accurate input of changes: new starters, leavers, pay adjustments, leave, bonuses
Liaise with external payroll provider to ensure all data is complete and correct before submission
Maintain employee payroll records in line with compliance and GDPR
Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with financial reporting
Work on year-end payroll reporting and employee statements
Support the finance team with tasks such as bank reconciliations, ledger updates, and reporting
Experience required:
3+ years of payroll experience in a similar role
IPASS qualification is essential
Strong MS Excel skills; knowledge of Sage or similar systems
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is critical
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Comfortable working in a team-based office environment
Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to manage a dual-function role
