Payroll Assistant
At Osborne, we are currently seeking a Payroll Assistant for a 6-month fixed-term contract with a leading organisation in the technology sector. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with experience in multi-jurisdiction environments who can support busy payroll operations and assist in improving internal processes. Working closely with the Payroll Specialist and reporting to the Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery across the organisation.
For You:


6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Salary: €37,000 - €42,000 pro rata
Hours: Full-time
Location: Remote


Responsibilities:


Assist with resolving a backlog of HR-related payroll requests, including Gender Pay Gap reporting
Respond to payroll queries from employees via the Payroll Queries Inbox
Support the rollout of a new payroll system, including the creation of standardised request forms
Contribute to process improvement by documenting payroll procedures
Collaborate with the Payroll Specialist on accurate payroll delivery across multiple jurisdictions


Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Essential:


3+ years’ experience in a payroll function
Experience working in a multi-jurisdiction environment (UK and international payrolls)
Experience with both in-house and outsourced payroll providers
Strong communication and query resolution skills
High attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems


Desirable:


Experience supporting payroll system transitions or process improvement projects
Familiarity with compliance-related payroll reporting
