Business Development Manager- Northern Ireland

Location: Northern Ireland (Base: Lisburn, NI)
Salary: £35k - 42k + Company Car + Employee Profit Share Scheme
Working Pattern: Field-based role, primarily on the road
 
We are seeking an experienced, proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Manager on behalf of one of our well-known clients based in Northern Ireland. This role is focused on strengthening existing client relationships and also driving business growth across all of Northern Ireland.
You’ll work closely with the Group Business Development Manager, Directors, regional BD teams and internal sales to develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across key sectors, including water, transport, energy and multi-utility.

 
Key Responsibilities:


Develop and execute business development strategies in line with their regional growth plans.
Identify and convert new business opportunities through active client engagement.
Maintain and grow relationships with key contractors and stakeholders, particularly in the water and utility sectors.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities.
Maintain accurate records in their CRM system and report regularly to the Senior Management Team.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and client satisfaction.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.


 

Qualifications & Experience:


A proven track record in sales/business development (B2B environment) is essential.
Experience working with clients in construction, utilities or infrastructure is required.
A strong existing network within Northern Ireland’s contractor landscape is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently, manage your own schedule and follow through with reporting/admin.
Solid understanding of sales strategy and client relationship management.
