Job Title:
Person In ChargeOur organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Person In Charge (PIC). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall management of our Service, including providing exceptional quality person-centred care to our residents.
The primary objective of this position is to ensure that we deliver high standards of service to our residents, while also managing staff effectively and ensuring compliance with HIQA standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Managing staff team and promoting a positive work environment
- Providing mentorship and leadership to staff members
- Conducting regular appraisals and performance reviews
- Coordinating and prioritizing appointments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Developing and implementing person-centred care plans to promote resident well-being
Requirements:
- A QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a degree in another relevant Allied Healthcare related discipline
- A minimum of three years experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector
- An appropriate qualification in Health or Social Care management (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
