Care Service Manager

The Care Service Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, safety, and quality of care in the respite service. They ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support staff, and maintain a safe, supportive environment for residents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential service
- Manage staff rotas, performance, and professional development
- Ensure care plans are up to date, accurate, and person-centred
- Monitor the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents
- Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Liaise with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and inspectors
- Ensure transparent and respectful communication at all times
- Leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Experience in care management or a related field
