Job Title: Senior Care Manager

About the Role:
  • Oversee daily operations of a residential service
  • Manage staff rotas, performance, and professional development
  • Lead by example in promoting dignity, respect, and person-centred care
  • Evaluate care plans for accuracy and relevance
  • Monitor the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents
  • Address staff concerns or grievances professionally
  • Liaise with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and inspectors

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A recognised Level 8 qualification in health or social care and registration with CORU
  • A Level 6 in Management qualification
  • At least three years' experience in a supervisory or management role in Respite settings
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and care standards (HIQA, safeguarding policies)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
