Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Service Operations Manager to strengthen our aftersales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our busy service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage workflow and work in progress to ensure operational and growth targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate with senior management and sales and aftersales teams to ensure company objectives are met.
  • Ensure all work is invoiced and warranty claims processed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on technician productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist with customer issues, providing technical information, costs, recommendations, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Ensure staff are up to date with technical and product knowledge as required.
  • Assist with implementing and managing training plans.
  • Liaise with franchise partners to ensure operational and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure staff adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in operational management of a busy service department in a main franchise dealer environment.
  • Previous mechanical and/or workshop control experience.
  • Be target-driven, with a demonstrable track record of success.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer care and retention.
  • Be able to work independently, while contributing significantly and enthusiastically to the successful running of our aftersales operations.
  • Be computer literate with strong organizational skills, experience with Keyloop would be an advantage.
  • Be self-motivated, hard-working, and dedicated to achieving high standards and results.
