About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to apply behavioural insights to inform policy and programme delivery that supports Irelands sustainable energy transition. As a Senior Qualitative Researcher, you will lead and manage research projects that support the development of behaviourally-informed energy policies and interventions. You will apply qualitative research methods to better understand citizen and business behaviours around energy use and translate behavioural evidence into policy-relevant recommendations. You will also mentor colleagues and help build qualitative capacity within the team. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal departments, external consultants, and government stakeholders. What We Are Looking For
A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Behavioural Science, Psychology, Sociology, or Economics. 4+ years of experience in a research role, with a strong focus on qualitative methods. Deep knowledge of behavioural science and its practical application to public policy. Experience in quantitative methods and survey design is a strong plus. Excellent communication and project management skills. Experience in the energy, climate, or sustainability sectors is desirable but not essential.
