Technical Support Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Expert to join our team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support for hardware and software issues.

You will work directly with our in-house team to ensure seamless technical service and customer experience. Your expertise will be utilized to resolve technical incidents, install software, and train client staff.

Responsibilities

  • Incident Management: Initial investigation and diagnosis of technical incidents.
  • Hands-on Support: Providing technical support for users.
  • Problem Management: Identifying and resolving recurring technical issues.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintaining a knowledge base of technical information.
  • Software Installation and Verification: Installing and verifying software updates.
  • Training: Providing ICT induction training for new client staff.
  • System Monitoring: Monitoring system alerts and taking appropriate action.
  • Shared Mailbox Management: Managing shared mailboxes and responding to emails.
  • Asset Tracking: Tracking and reporting on ICT equipment.
  • Maintenance of Active Directory: Ensuring accurate reflection of changes in ownership of ICT equipment.
  • Auditing: Facilitating audits and providing access to necessary information.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in an on-site Technical Support role.
  • Excellent knowledge of desktop, laptop, and mobile device hardware, operating systems, and protocols.
  • Windows 10 and Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Intune, Company portal, and Microsoft Authenticator.
  • Ability to cope with peak workloads and tight deadlines.
