Job Title: Technical Project Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technical project manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing various projects across different departments.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive briefs for capital projects in consultation with relevant personnel.
  • Create detailed budgets and ensure projects stay within allocated resources.
  • Manage Minor Works lists, select contractors, and recommend tenders.
  • Evaluate compliance with EU procurement and financial regulations.
  • Supervise staff and contractors in project implementation.
  • Provide technical support to service and capital & estates personnel.
  • Formulate maintenance programs for buildings, services, and equipment.
  • Determine maintenance requirements and allocate necessary resources.
  • Develop plans and contracts for maintenance programs.
  • Support in defining equipment and building requirements for maintenance and operation.
  • Recommend maintenance contracts and oversee their execution.
  • Maintain proper upkeep of buildings, services, and equipment.
  • Evaluate regulatory compliance, including licenses and certificates.
  • Assist in property management activities and develop property strategies.
  • Analyze infrastructure, energy use, and environmental risks.
  • Maintain compliance with HIQA standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Advise on energy efficiency and environmental initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on energy consumption and efficiency standards.
  • Contribute to safety, health, and environmental risk management.
  • Participate in organizational performance and transformation initiatives.
  • Achieve project targets within allocated resources.
  • Represent the organization as needed and build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate in sustainability initiatives to promote a low-carbon health service.
