We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support our client's indirect compliance and accounting process across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing and filing indirect tax returns, submitting refund claims, performing account reconciliations, carrying out data validation and ensuring timely tax payments.
- Working with external service providers as required to meet indirect tax compliance obligations.
- Ensuring accurate completion of templates for tax payments, journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
- Working closely with Legal, Finance and the wider business to provide guidance, advice and support on indirect tax-related matters.
- Assisting the EMEA and Global Tax Teams with tax projects such as tax system implementation/automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting tax audits/enquiries as they arise.
- Preparing and maintaining process documentation.
- Maintaining compliance and risk trackers.
- Supplier management.
- Undergraduate Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years' Indirect Tax experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Word/Power BI.
- ERP experience, ideally Oracle/SAP.
- Experience with data analytics tools/tax software is an advantage.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
