Project Management Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our construction projects in Ireland.

Our organization prioritizes quality and safety standards, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

We operate across various sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use, pharmaceutical, and healthcare environments.

  • Develop and implement Project Execution Plans, emphasizing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Quality plans.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and workforce members involved in projects.
  • Lead project teams, overseeing functions such as risk management, financial planning, processes, HSEQS, stakeholder engagement, project administration, design management, and project close-out.
  • Compile contract reports and provide updates to stakeholders, working closely with QS members.
  • Review buildability and identify construction methods offering commercial or program advantages.
  • Plan, organize, and direct activities related to structure, facility, and system construction.
  • Develop project plans and schedules, executing them to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Coordinate project activities according to our Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures, and Engineering Specifications.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of projects from initial stages through hand-over.
  • Meet objectives in timely delivery, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve a 'right first time' philosophy throughout the project life cycle.
  • Deliver projects successfully through leadership, management, technical, and engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage daily site operations of subcontractors, ensuring workflow aligns with the program of works on-site.
  • Attend regular meetings with clients, architects, and consultants, keeping them informed of progress.
  • Oversee quality management and BCAR coordination, ensuring regulations are adhered to on-site.
  • Handle technical queries and interface with clients, consultants, and architects regarding RFI's.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering discipline, Civil, Structural, or Construction Management.
  • Experience in main/specialist contractors ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
  • Computer literate and familiar with MS Office, project scheduling packages.
  • Good knowledge of safety management and quality management.
  • Ability to lead confidently, mentor, and motivate staff under their supervision.
