Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Project Manager to lead our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role, holding a BSC Degree or higher in Construction, Civil or Structural Engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for close involvement/communication with all disciplines, including Client, Architectural, Engineering and EHS teams. They will develop a detailed program for works, ensuring coordination of project management construction and engineering teams.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring that every member of the project team is aware of their roles and responsibilities associated with the project. The Project Manager will also communicate with company directors on project progress and sit in on pre-start meetings.

Responsibilities include developing a project risk register and recovery strategy, tracking project labour and trends, and representing the company at meetings with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role
  • BSC Degree or higher in Construction, Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational, teamwork and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at once
  • Knowledge of legal requirements especially in regard to the engineering role and duties
  • Ability to write and evaluate reports
  • Responsibility for own professional development
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office - Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint
