**Senior Mechanical Project Manager Job Overview**

As a seasoned mechanical project manager, you will lead the execution of large-scale mechanical projects from inception to completion. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in mechanical engineering and HVAC systems knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of complex mechanical projects across various sectors.
  • Collaborate with sales and proposals teams to develop bid strategies, cost estimates, and project plans.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and resources to maintain profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Regularly visit project sites to inspect progress, quality, and health & safety compliance.
  • Represent the business at client meetings, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Develop and implement project programmes, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
  • Manage contract documentation and ensure compliance with all requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within mechanical services.
  • Background in mechanical engineering, preferably with HVAC systems knowledge.
  • Proven track record in high-spec environments such as data centres or pharma sites.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and commercial skills are essential.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
  • A full driving license is mandatory.
