Job Summary:
Seeking experienced professionals to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in residential care settings. As a key member of the care team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality care services that enhance the lives of service users.
The successful candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience working with adults or children with complex needs. A full manual driver's license and excellent communication skills are also essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily activities and routines of service users
- Manage administrative tasks and complete household duties
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users and their families
Requirements:
- Relevant QQI Level 5/Fetac Level 5 qualification or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience supporting adults or children with intellectual and physical disabilities
- Knowledge of adults/children with complex needs
- Full manual driver's license from a recognized state
