Insurance Team Assistant

We are seeking a professional with experience in managing compliance assignments for multinational companies.

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality services and drive business growth.

  • Manage statutory accounting and compliance projects;
  • Support internal finance teams and financial operations;
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives;
  • Provide practical accounting advice to clients on various issues;
  • Advice on accounting requirements under IFRS and Irish & UK GAAP;
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into projects;
  • Ensure quality and timely service is delivered to clients;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior finance personnel;
  • Manage junior team members;

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in dealing with accounting issues ideally in the Insurance industry;
  • Detailed knowledge of financial reporting, including auditing or preparing financial statements;
  • Experience of relationship management, negotiating with and influencing senior individuals;
  • Committed to relationship development and able to identify opportunities to deliver value;
  • A genuine interest in financial reporting issues;
  • Awareness of current topics in insurance and challenges facing the industry;
  • Good communication skills, highly articulate with excellent report writing skills;
  • Project experience in the insurance industry is desirable;
  • Passion for client service;
  • Ability to learn quickly and keep abreast of latest developments in financial reporting;
  • Recognised accounting qualification;
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Irish or UK GAAP and Irish or UK company law.
